SRT Subtitle Time Shifter
Fix out-of-sync SRT subtitles by shifting all timestamps forward or backward. Paste your SRT content, enter the offset in milliseconds, and download the corrected file.
Negative = shift earlier (subtitles appear sooner). Positive = shift later.
Frequently asked
questions
SRT (SubRip Text) is the most common subtitle format. It contains numbered subtitle blocks with start and end timestamps in HH:MM:SS,mmm format followed by the subtitle text.
If the subtitles appear late, shift backward (negative value). If they appear early, shift forward (positive value). Start with ±500ms and adjust. A 1-second offset is 1000ms.
Entries shifted before 00:00:00,000 are clamped to zero or removed (they cannot have negative timestamps). This only affects the very first subtitles if you shift backward by a large amount.
